Azir, the Emperor of the Sands, is a powerful mage and a versatile champion in the game League of Legends. With his ability to summon and command an army of sand soldiers, Azir can dominate the battlefield and control the flow of the game. As one of the most iconic champions in the game, Azir has received several skins, each offering a unique visual and thematic experience. One of these skins is the SKT T1 Azir skin, which pays homage to the legendary Korean esports team, SK Telecom T1.
The SKT T1 Azir skin was released on April 30, 2015, and is priced at 1350 RP. This skin transforms Azir into a member of the SK Telecom T1 team, featuring their iconic black and red color scheme. The skin also includes new visual effects, animations, and sound effects, giving Azir a fresh and exciting look on the battlefield.
The SKT T1 Azir skin showcases Azir as a formidable leader, donning the team's uniform and carrying a staff adorned with the SK Telecom T1 logo. His sand soldiers are transformed into loyal teammates, wearing the team's colors and displaying the SK Telecom T1 emblem on their shields. The skin also introduces new particle effects, such as golden sand trails and SK Telecom T1-themed abilities, adding a touch of elegance and prestige to Azir's already impressive arsenal.
Azir's story within the League of Legends universe is one of ambition, power, and betrayal. Born as a mortal emperor of Shurima, Azir sought immortality and the restoration of his fallen empire. Through ancient rituals and the power of the sun disc, Azir transformed himself into an Ascended being, becoming the Emperor of the Sands. However, his thirst for power led him down a dark path, and he was ultimately betrayed by his closest ally, Xerath.
In the game, Azir is a mage who excels at controlling the battlefield and dealing sustained damage. His passive ability, Shurima's Legacy, allows him to summon sand soldiers that can attack enemies from a distance. These soldiers can be commanded to dash towards enemies, dealing damage and applying crowd control effects. Azir's ultimate ability, Emperor's Divide, creates a massive wall of sand that knocks back enemies and provides a strong zoning tool.
Azir's strengths lie in his ability to dominate team fights and control objectives. With his sand soldiers, he can poke enemies from a safe distance and engage in fights with his ultimate ability. His passive also allows him to push lanes and siege turrets effectively, making him a strong pick in competitive play. However, Azir's reliance on positioning and coordination with his sand soldiers makes him vulnerable to assassins and champions with high mobility. Additionally, his early game can be challenging, as he requires time to scale and reach his full potential.
Throughout his journey in the League of Legends game, Azir has become a fan-favorite champion, known for his unique playstyle and powerful abilities. The SKT T1 Azir skin adds another layer of excitement for both Azir enthusiasts and fans of the SK Telecom T1 team. With its stunning visuals and thematic elements, this skin allows players to embody the spirit of the legendary team while commanding the sands as Azir.

Lore:
Azir was a mortal emperor of Shurima in a far distant age, a proud man who stood at the cusp of immortality. His hubris saw him betrayed and murdered at the moment of his greatest triumph, but now, millennia later, he has been reborn as an Ascended being of immense power. With his buried city risen from the sand, Azir seeks to restore Shurima to its former glory.
Ally tips:
Be careful about putting down both of the soldiers stored by Arise! Unless you're going all-in, always have a soldier in your back pocket if you need to escape over a wall or if you misposition your other soldier and need damage now. In the lane, try to position your soldiers between the enemy's minions and the enemy champion. This way you can use them both to last hit and to project threat onto your lane opponent. Think of Emperor's Divide as a defensive ability first and foremost. Use it when the enemy engages on you or your allies. Remember that your team can walk through the soldiers summoned by Emperor's Divide and use this to your advantage when enemy melee champions engage on you. Be a bird!
Enemy tips:
Azir relies on his soldiers to deal damage and can only move them so often. Try to capitalize on windows of time when his soldiers are stationary.Azir has immense damage over a prolonged amount of time but lacks the upfront burst of other mages. Try to burst him out before he can turn a confrontation around.Try to think of Sand Soldiers as fire. Don't stand in the fire.
